Our haircuts are $225 with our Senior Stylist Rita and $195 with our Junior Stylist Zarayah. Zarayah has a conservative style of cutting and Rita has a more make-over style of cutting. The curly cuts includes a shaping cut on dry hair, scalp and hair detox, steam deep conditioning treatment, diffused or hood hair dried and a refinement dusting for any curl stragglers [if necessary]. We do not skip any part of this process to achieve the look our Curl Stars have come to know and love. We put the same amount of time and effort even if you decide to receive a "trim", the price from the trim is the same.

Prep For Cut

Preferably you should arrive with your curls dry and in its natural curl form (a light leave-in conditioner or foam mousse is okay). Please do not weigh down your curls with gels, creams and custards. No ponytails, buns, headbands or hats. No twist/braid-outs. No comb/brush or blowouts.

Your hair should be detangled enough to comfortably use or fingers or be able to run a wide-tooth comb through the curly. If you need assistance with detangling, please let us know prior to your appointment so that additional time may be added to your appointment. There is an additional fee for detangling.

Prep For Color

In addition, if you are coloring your hair, it is not recommended for you to shampoo your hair the night before or day of your appointment as your scalp may become mildly irritated when the color is applied to your scalp. If you must shampoo your hair for any reason less than 24 hours prior to receiving color, please let your stylist know and she will do all she can to make the coloring process more comfortable for you.

Most of our curly/texture cuts are performed on dry hair, dependent upon the tightness or looseness of your texture and the desired results.  Our Curl/Texture Specialist will assess your curl pattern and proceed with what is most beneficial for the desired result. 

We cut hair of children who are 12 years old and up. The other exception is, if one of the parents is a current client of Tousled Hair Salon, we will be more than happy to cut your child's hair. 'A family that gets their hair cut together - stays together'.

Street parking can quickly become limited dependent upon the time of day you choose. Monday thru Friday you can do available street parking for up to 2 hours between 7AM - 9PM. There is alternate street cleanings on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8AM-12PM. Fortunately, there are no street parking rules in effect on Saturdays and Sundays. There is metered parking dependent upon which street you select. There are paid indoor and outdoor parking lots located four-six (4) blocks from our shop. Rates start at $15.00.
